Craps Rules
Craps is played with a pair of dice and players will bet on the results of the dice rolls. In craps, some bets can be made after the throw, others well before. In casinos, there is a table on the table with several betting boxes and a place to roll the dice. The game is supervised by four casino croupiers including a "boxman" who supervises the casino team and ensures the smooth running and good coordination of the game, two croupiers whose main task is to collect the losing chips and distribute the winnings of the winners, and finally a “stickman” who keeps 6 non-piped dice from which will be chosen the two dice used by the thrower during the game of craps.
Playing and betting in craps
The main thing in craps is to bet correctly on the results of the dice. Indeed, there are various places on the table where you can place your chips. These boxes correspond to very specific betting cases and are subject to odds: some are 1 to 1, 4 to 1, 11 to 1. Thus, the size of your possible winnings or losses will depend on your setting. In general, the boxes located in the center of the box have a low probability of occurring and then correspond to more substantial profit opportunities. It is possible for you to bet on these boxes but you will however risk quickly liquidating your gaming budget.
Basic knowledge of craps
During a craps game, a pitcher is chosen from among the players around the table or from the casino staff. This person takes 2 dice, one of red color and another of green color. This stage will be followed by a player wagering session, and it is at this point that it is important to master the rules of the game of craps. Once the thrower has rolled the dice, we speak of the opening throw or "come out roll". If you are the thrower, you will have to place a bet on your result, so either you win according to the odds of your bet, or you lose and the casino cashes your chips. But it is also possible that we make a new roll of dice with the possibility or not of modification of certain bets.
The different ways to bet in craps
There are many betting possibilities in the game of craps, however it is quite possible to master them. Note that we add the results of the two dice: for example (3 + 2 = 5). It happens that we are in the presence of a double 1 which is equal to 2, or of a double 6 which gives 12 or with a 3 obtained with 1 + 2 = 3; these results form what is known as "craps". With a double of the following points: 2, 3, 4, 5 whose respective sum makes 4, 6, 8 and 10, you will have what are called "hard ways".
The different phases of craps play
There are several cases of craps figures. First, if the pitcher performs a “come out roll” craps whose sum is 2 or 3, he will immediately lose the chips he has bet. Those who bet on "pass" on this first throw also lose their stake. Conversely, those who bet on "do not pass" pocket their bet and win a sum according to the odds if the result is a 2 or a 3. If the sum of the two dice gives a craps of 12, we are in the case of a draw, we then proceed to a new roll of dice. If the first throw results in a 7 or an 11, the pitcher as well as all the players who bet on "pass" will win, unlike those who bet in the "do not pass" box.
