Video Poker Rules
Video poker is a game of money offered by online casinos and land casinos where the player will be faced with a machine instead of real or virtual opponents. The goal is therefore to train the best hand to be paid accordingly.
Learn the rules of video poker before playing
The player will only receive his cards after inserting one or more coins into the chip slot to start the game. In accordance with the rules of video poker, the player has a wide choice as to the amount of his bet. After having selected the value of his bet, he must pull the lever if it is a ground video poker or press the "play" or "draw" button if he is playing in a virtual games room. Then, the video poker machine will provide him with the initial cards on the game screen and he can then choose the cards he wants to keep and change the others by pressing the draw button or the lever on the machine. Substitution cards will appear after this action.
The rules of Jacks or Better
According to the rules governing Jacks or Better video poker, the payout for winning hands depends on the value of those hands. If the player bets 5 chips, the royal flush brings in up to 4,000 coins while below this value, the player only cashes 250 coins. The straight flush generates 50 coins by betting a chip and the square pays 25 coins per bet chip. A full house generates between 6 and 9 coins for each token bet while the color pays between 4 and 5 coins for a token if the player manages to combine five matching cards but in no specific order. The set is worth 3 coins per token invested in Jacks or Better and the double pair pays the player at a height of 2 coins per token. Finally, the Jack or Better pair is the weakest combination according to the rules and it consists of a pair of honor cards (two kings or queens or valets) or a pair of Aces.
The rules of Deuces Wild
The rules of Deuces Wild video poker are the same as those of classic poker except the rules which relate to number cards 2 which are called Wild. These cards can indeed replace any other card both in terms of value and strength, giving the player the opportunity to form a good hand. The first five cards will appear on the screen after the player has cleared the minimum bet. Then, the player can keep or modify his cards in play by pushing the lever or the button. If he obtains card 2, the computer will take into account the optimal value so that the player's hand is favored. The participant can then do natural formations while observing the usual order of the cards.
